Loop of Command
WELCOME, UNIT.
Loop of Command is a minimalist automation puzzler about programming obedient robots in a cold corporate world.
Assign commands. Choose positions. Do whatever it takes to make the output match The Overseer’s design.
Success is rewarded with further responsibility.
Failure is… noted.

ENGAGE.
THE OVERSEER IS WATCHING.
⚠️ KNOWN DEVIATIONS
- WebGL loading screen may stall, especially on first launch or in fullscreen. The Overseer recommends patience.
- Unauthorized fullscreen toggles may occur when dragging items starting from lvl 5.
- Robots and commands may be repositioned mid-loop. This behavior is… discouraged.
All anomalies have been recorded and will be evaluated for future correction. Thank you for your compliance.
⏳ EXPANSION REQUEST STATUS: PENDING
Corrective Actions Scheduled:
- Execution Lock Protocol - prevent command and unit manipulation mid-loop
- Soft Reset System - retain assigned instructions after failure
- Time Compression Module - accelerate simulation post-engage
- Display Behavior Patch - eliminate unintended fullscreen transitions
- Auditory Refinement Initiative - enhance sound design fidelity
- Specialist Unit Expansion - new robot types under development
- Extended Simulation Length - further challenges in development
You may monitor progress via Unit Jamie on X, Bluesky, or itch.io.
Continued observation encouraged. Compliance appreciated.

Completed the game, it was pretty simple. The last level made me think a little, but the solution was not hard. It's nice that you can skip text, but I'd also prefer if the simulation could be faster.
This game seems pretty popular. How did you get 100+ ratings?
Sidenote: I'm also working on a commercial coding game. If this kind of game interests you (or anyone else reading) and you'd like to playtest, let me know.
Thanks for playing! The difficulty was kept intentionally approachable - this was a jam game, and I wanted most players to be able to finish it in one sitting. That said, a faster simulation was definitely on the backlog… but 4 days is 4 days 😅. It’s something I’d still like to add post-jam.
As for the popularity - honestly, I’m just as surprised as you are. I didn’t promote it in any way, so the warm response from the community has been incredibly unexpected (and appreciated).
Re: your coding game - I’ll admit that as a former commercial programmer, that sounds like PTSD bait 😅 But if you’re looking for honest playtesting and are willing to return the favor, I’d be glad to collaborate.
I personally found your game scrolling GMTK discord and seeing it described as "automation" (I like the genre, but it's generally rare for jam games to be this genre) + cover image looks good, but I guess Itch algorithm probably helped as well.
Looks like there isn't a way to DM on Itch. Message me on Discord/Telegram/Facebook: @nns2009
Also: any jam games, which you'd particularly recommend?
My pick: "Against the cluck" is one of the best jam games I've ever played (and I played a lot): https://unmutedgames.itch.io/against-the-cluck
Really nice, love the style in particular. And it reminds me of human resource machine.
Appreciated. Stylistic alignment confirmed.
Resemblance to Human Resource Machine accepted as compliment.
Loved the idea and how contrasting the art and story was lol. The difficulty was hard, but was engaging. Made me actually use more than 2 braincells. Good game!
Thank you, Unit. Cognitive overclocking detected - within safe margins.
We appreciate your willingness to suffer.
